Lassus

Lassus is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving communities in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio for over 100 years. Established in 1925, Lassus began as a coal business before transitioning to gasoline distribution and eventually expanding into convenience stores.

Today, Lassus operates a chain of convenience stores known as Lassus Handy Dandy, offering quality gasoline, a variety of convenience foods, and exceptional customer service. Their mission is to provide quality gasoline and convenient foods with caring service, in an environment that encourages employee, community, and company growth.

In addition to fuel and convenience items, many Lassus locations feature Elmo's Pizza & Subs, a premium pizza and sub sandwich chain, and Higher Grounds, a coffee shop offering premium drip coffee, milkshakes, and frappes.

Lassus is also committed to community involvement through the Lassus Foundation, which donated over $100,000 to more than 75 charities in 2023.
