Kolache Factory Inc. is a family-owned bakery-café chain specializing in the production and sale of kolaches—a traditional Eastern European pastry made from semi-sweet dough filled with various sweet and savory ingredients. Founded in 1982 by John Banks and his late wife Jerri in Houston, Texas, the company has grown significantly.
