Kipp Metro Atlanta Collaborative Inc

KIPP Metro Atlanta Collaborative Inc is a network of tuition-free, public charter schools dedicated to providing a college-preparatory education to students in Atlanta, GA, and East Point, Georgia.

Established in 2003, the network has grown to include ten schools and one district partner school, collectively serving over 5,500 scholars from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The mission of KIPP Metro Atlanta Collaborative Inc is to equip students with the academic skills, scholarly habits, and character traits necessary to succeed in top-quality colleges and the competitive world beyond.

Schools and Educational Model

The network operates a diverse range of schools:

• Elementary Schools: KIPP Vision Primary, KIPP STRIVE Primary, KIPP WAYS Primary, KIPP Soul Primary, and KIPP South Fulton Primary.
• Middle Schools: KIPP Vision Academy, KIPP STRIVE Academy, KIPP WAYS Academy, KIPP South Fulton Academy (district partner school), and KIPP Woodson Park Academy.
• High School: KIPP Atlanta Collegiate.

Alumni Support Program

KIPP Metro Atlanta Collaborative Inc offers the KIPP Through College program, which supports over 800 college-aged alumni.

This program provides scholarships, academic support, social services, and high school/college placement assistance, helping alumni navigate college challenges.

Growth and Impact

In 2009, KIPP Metro Atlanta Collaborative Inc operated two schools serving 640 students.

By 2024, it had expanded to 11 schools educating over 5,500 students.

The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate class of 2020 had a graduation rate of 86%, compared to 75% for Atlanta Public Schools, with 71% of seniors matriculating to college.
