Kendal Crosslands Communities is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, offering a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals aged 65 and older. Established in the early 1970s with a generous grant from the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, the community is deeply rooted in Quaker values that emphasize simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality.

Campuses

Kendal at Longwood was the first Life Plan Community established on the campus, offering residential-style cottages reminiscent of an English village. Crosslands, founded five years after Kendal at Longwood, offers a variety of floor plans ranging from one-bedroom apartments to two-bedroom cottages with dens. Amenities include:
