Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division. Established in 1959 as the Dallas Texans, the franchise relocated to Kansas City in 1963 and adopted its current name.

The team has a storied history, securing four Super Bowl championships in 1969, 2019, 2022, and 2023, as well as three AFL championships in 1962, 1966, and 1969.

It is part of the Truman Sports Complex, adjacent to Kauffman Stadium, home of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals. The stadium is renowned for its passionate fan base, setting a world record for the loudest stadium cheer at 142.2 decibels during a 2014 game.

The team's colors are red, gold, and white, and their logo features an interlocking "KC" design within an arrowhead shape.

This emblem was inspired by the "SF" inside an oval on the San Francisco 49ers helmets and was originally sketched by founder Lamar Hunt.
