Jo's Coffee, established in 1999, is a beloved Austin-based coffee shop renowned for its high-quality coffee, delectable breakfast tacos, and vibrant community atmosphere.

In February 2025, Jo's expanded its reach by opening its first Houston location in the historic Houston Heights neighborhood.

Houston Heights Location

The Houston Heights location is situated at 1023 Studewood Street. It offers a welcoming environment that mirrors the brand's Austin roots. The interior was designed in collaboration with Austin's Hip.Hop.Design Studio and features custom furniture from RAD Furniture, a sustainability-focused company founded near the original Jo's on South Congress Avenue.

Coffee and Signature Drinks

Jo's Coffee is celebrated for its signature House Blend, a medium roast coffee with notes of milk chocolate, nuts, and honey. This blend is available as drip or espresso coffee.

Popular beverages include the Iced Turbo, a draft drink combining coffee, espresso, hazelnut, chocolate, and cream. The Houston Heights location introduces a unique signature drink called the Bungalow.

The Bungalow is inspired by the neighborhood's architecture and blends vanilla, cayenne, cinnamon, espresso, and milk.

Food and Beverages Offerings

Beyond coffee, Jo's offers a selection of craft beers, frosé, and breakfast tacos from Tacodeli, along with fresh, locally made pastries.

The café features both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive-through for added convenience.
