I.M.P. is an independent concert promotion and production company based in Washington, D.C.. It specializes in organizing and managing live music events from intimate gatherings to large-scale festivals.

Over the past 36 years, I.M.P. has established itself as a prominent entity in the live music industry, having presented more than 15,000 events and hosting millions of music fans.

The company began its journey in a modest setting, even operating from a bedroom, and has since grown to become a key player in the music scene.

I.M.P. has been instrumental in promoting and producing several notable events and festivals, including:

• Lollapalooza: promoted every year it was a touring festival from 1991 to 1996.
• Merriweather Post Pavilion: took over operations and programming in 2004 and continues to manage this iconic venue.
• Virgin Festival: launched the U.S. version, producing and promoting it annually from 2006 to 2013.
• Lincoln Theatre: operating, programming, and promoting events since 2013 at this historic venue.
