Hope House of Colorado

Hope House Colorado is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering parenting teenage mothers in the Denver-metro area. It provides comprehensive programs aimed at fostering personal and economic self-sufficiency. Established in 2000, the organization operates from its headquarters at 6475 Benton Street BLDG A, Arvada, CO 80003.

Mission and Vision

The mission of Hope House Colorado is to empower teen mothers to achieve personal and economic self-sufficiency while understanding their significance in God's sight. This leads to a healthy future for them and their children.

Their vision is to transform the lives of teen moms and their children by breaking the cycle of generational poverty.

Programs and Services

Hope House Colorado offers a range of free self-sufficiency programs to support teen mothers in three key areas:

• Empower Program: provides opportunities for personal, educational, and economic self-sufficiency, including GED preparation, college and career support, and life skills workshops.
• Housing Support Program: the only residential program for teen moms in the Denver-metro area, offering safe and stable housing and support services to help mothers achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
• Early Childhood Education Program: includes a licensed childcare center providing full-time, quality care for 104 children, as well as an Early Learning & School Age Program serving children while their moms are on-site at the resource center.

Early Learning Center

In August 2024, Hope House Colorado opened an 11,000-square-foot Early Learning Center. This center provides childcare for up to 104 children of Hope House moms and staff members when it reaches full capacity.

The center offers a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years old.

Impact and Achievements

In 2023, 67% of teen moms demonstrated growth in economic self-sufficiency domains, and 57% showed increases in personal self-sufficiency.

The organization served 629 teen moms and their children in the last fiscal year, spending $3,394,847 to support these individuals.

Events and Community Engagement

Hope House Colorado hosts several annual events to engage the community and raise funds for their programs. These include:

• The Annual 5K & Fun Run
• The Annual Joe Coors Hope House Classic golf tournament
• The Annual Hope House Gala, with the 23rd Gala scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, at The Westin Westminster
