Guadalupe Credit Union

Guadalupe Credit Union (GCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to its members.

Established in 1948 by Father Edward J. McCarthy to serve the parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, GCU has grown through several mergers with other credit unions. These include St. Anne's Credit Union, Health and Environment and Human Services Credit Union, Cristo Rey Credit Union, and St. Gertrude's Credit Union in Mora.

These expansions have broadened its membership to include much of the Santa Fe community and beyond.

Since 2010, GCU has been recognized as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), committed to offering responsible, affordable lending to low-income, low-wealth, and underserved communities. In 2015, it earned the Juntos Avanzamos designation for tailored financial products and services for Hispanic and immigrant communities.

• Loans: New & Used Auto Loans, AutoSMART, financing for Motorcycles, Recreational Vehicles & Boats, VISA® Credit Cards, Share-Secured VISA® Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Share-Secured Loans, Check Guard Line of Credit, Borrow & Save Loans, Emergency Fast Cash Loans, Mortgage Loans, Mobile Home Loans, and Smart-E Loans.
• Financial Well-Being Resources: Members have access to Financial Coaching, a Financial Resource Center, Financial Calculators, Financial Reality Fairs, and the BizKid$ program.
• Online Banking: Enables account management, statement viewing, payments, fund transfers, loan applications, check ordering, alerts, and credit card spending monitoring.
• Additional Services: Money orders, official checks, postage stamps, notary services, and safe deposit boxes at branches.
