Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to ending poverty through the power of work. Established in 1947, it has grown to become one of the largest Goodwill districts in the United States.

The organization operates over 100 retail stores and donation centers across central and northern Arizona, providing critical services to the community.

Goodwill offers a comprehensive suite of services aimed at empowering individuals and strengthening communities. Its no-cost career services include job assistance, resume building, mock interviews, training, and more. These programs are designed to help job seekers feel confident and successful.

Additionally, Goodwill operates The Excel Center, Arizona's first adult high school, enabling students aged 18 and older to earn their high school diplomas while accessing essential skills training and support services.

In partnership with Mercy House, the organization provides emergency shelter intervention for families experiencing homelessness in Maricopa, Yavapai, and Coconino counties. This includes housing support, career services, and wraparound support for Arizona families in need. Goodwill also supports veterans and their families through the Veteran Career Center, connecting them with caring staff and no-cost resources.

Goodwill promotes sustainability and environmental stewardship by diverting millions of pounds of donated materials from landfills. The proceeds from its retail operations fund these valuable community programs, creating a positive impact on both the environment and the local economy.
