About Go Chicken Go
Go Chicken Go is a family-owned restaurant chain that has been serving Kansas City since 1969. Founded by Bill and Mary Hendrix, the first location was established inside a Go Gas service station at 7th Street and Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
The success of their fried chicken led to the removal of the gas pumps and the rebranding to Go Chicken Go. Over the years, the Hendrix family expanded the business, opening additional locations in the 1970s and 1980s.
Today, the chain is managed by the Hendrix brothers, Bill and Mike, along with Mike's daughter, Andrea Lowe, and is directed by Alex Lowe.
