Gjelina Group

Gjelina Group is a hospitality collective founded by Fran Camaj, named in honor of his mother. Established in 2008, the group began with the opening of Gjelina, a restaurant on Venice's Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

Gjelina quickly became a staple in the Venice community, renowned for its locally sourced, produce-forward cuisine.

Over the years, Gjelina Group has expanded its portfolio to include a diverse array of establishments, each contributing to the group's mission of delivering purposeful and simple hospitality experiences.

Venice Locations and Establishments

• Gjusta Bakery: A deli-bakery-café offering fresh, seasonal food sourced from local farms, ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops.
• Gjusta Goods: A retail store providing goods for cooking, gathering, and living, featuring daily essentials created and curated for the restaurants.
• Gjusta Grocer: A market and grocery offering prepared foods, groceries, bread, coffee, beer, wines, and more.
• Gjusta Flower Shop: Specializing in seasonal arrangements and bouquets, flower subscriptions, event and corporate florals, and custom installations.
• Gjusta Apartment: A Venice apartment available for both short and long-term stays, situated above Gjusta Bakery and Gjusta Goods.

In 2023, Gjelina Group expanded with the opening of Gjelina Hotel, a hotel, guest house, and event space located one block from the Venice boardwalk and beach.
