GAP Ministries

GAP Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Tucson, Arizona, dedicated to serving Southern Arizona since 1999. Their mission is to bring help to children, healing to families, and hope to the community. They operate from their Campus of Hope at 2025 W. Highway Drive, Tucson, AZ 85705.

Children's Services

The organization provides family-style group homes, known as SPLASH Houses, for children and teens placed through the Department of Child Safety (DCS). These homes offer a nurturing environment for children aged 0-21 who have experienced neglect or abuse.

Additionally, GAP Ministries offers foster care training and licensing to individuals and couples interested in becoming foster parents, ensuring a steady supply of loving homes for children in need.

Family Support

To facilitate healthy family reunification, GAP Ministries offers supervised visitation services for families of children in foster care.

The Miracle Center provides career and life management training, called Career Plus, to individuals seeking to improve their circumstances and successfully provide for their families.

Community Outreach

The Community Warehouse is a pivotal program that shares food and essential products with numerous local nonprofits and individuals, including those on AHCCCS, veterans, seniors, foster and adoptive families, and refugees. This initiative ensures that basic needs are met for many in the community.

The GAP Kitchen prepares and serves over 100,000 meals annually to low-income children and others in need. In November 2024, the kitchen underwent a significant expansion, enabling it to double or even triple its meal output.

The expanded facility also supports a culinary training program, offering individuals the opportunity to develop skills for a career in the food service industry.

Career Training

Career Plus, a component of the Miracle Center, offers career and life management training for the unemployed, underemployed, and those desiring a better life for themselves.

This program equips individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to secure stable employment and achieve financial independence.
