In April 2024, Flynn Group further expanded its Applebee's holdings by acquiring 26 restaurants in Florida and Georgia from Doherty Enterprises, a longstanding franchisee.

Diversification

In 2024, the company added 83 Wendy's locations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, bringing its total Wendy's holdings to 277 restaurants across six states and Washington, D.C.

In addition to its restaurant operations, Flynn Group ventured into the fitness industry by acquiring 37 Planet Fitness locations. This marked its first non-restaurant acquisition and led to the company's rebranding from Flynn Restaurant Group to Flynn Group.
