About FareStart
FareStart is a nonprofit organization based in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to transforming lives, disrupting poverty, and nourishing communities through food, life skills, and job training. Established in 1988 by David Lee as Common Meals, the organization became a nonprofit in 1992. Since then, FareStart has been committed to helping individuals overcome barriers to employment, such as homelessness, by providing comprehensive training and support.
