Exchange Careers is the official employment portal for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), a Department of Defense organization established in 1895. The Exchange operates as a non-appropriated fund entity, generating its operating budget primarily through sales of goods and services. Approximately 2% of its funding comes from the U.S. government.
