Founded by restaurateur Hunter Pond and his Vandelay Hospitality Group, the restaurant offers a luxurious ambiance reminiscent of 1930s and 1940s metropolitan eateries in New York and Los Angeles.

The interior design features rich red leather booths, warm wood paneling, and dim lighting, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. Original murals adorn the walls, depicting iconic Hollywood figures from various eras, adding a touch of vintage charm to the setting.

The menu at Drake's Hollywood showcases elevated twists on American classics. Signature dishes include the truffled filet mignon cracker-crust pizza, ossetra caviar with crème fraîche-dressed oysters from the raw bar, and a premier steak program featuring the 42-ounce "King's Porterhouse." Other highlights are the "Le Deluxe" mac and cheese, combining lobster, crab, and ossetra caviar, and the decadent 24-layer strawberry cake.

The bar is renowned for its "World's Coldest Martinis", with bartenders specially trained to achieve the optimal frost temperature before serving. The extensive wine selection and classic cocktails further enhance the dining experience.

Locations

Drake's Hollywood has expanded its presence beyond its original location in West Hollywood, California. The Dallas branch opened in 2020, bringing the Hollywood-inspired dining experience to Texas. In August 2024, the Houston location in the Montrose neighborhood opened its doors, marking the largest branch to date. This expansion reflects the restaurant's commitment to delivering its unique blend of glamour and culinary excellence to a broader audience.
