Established in 1965 as the Didlake School, the organization has evolved to offer a comprehensive range of services aimed at empowering people with disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Services Offered

Didlake offers a diverse array of services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities:

• Employment Services: These services focus on matching individuals' passions and skills to suitable employment opportunities. They assist clients in achieving their employment goals, including resume writing, job search assistance, and interview preparation.
• Day Support Services: Programs designed for personal growth and learning, providing supportive environments where individuals can develop social and vocational skills, promoting a full, responsible, and productive life.
• Business Services for Government: Didlake delivers quality service solutions for federal, state, county, and city government contracts, including custodial, logistics, grounds maintenance, and administrative services. Their workforce of over 1,300 people provides these services across approximately 40 contracts in the region.
• Commercial Business Services: Ventures like Didlake Document Imaging and Didlake Photo Imaging offer document scanning and photo digitization services. They also own and operate two The UPS Stores in Virginia, providing retail employment opportunities for people with disabilities and supporting local entrepreneurs.
