The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is a state agency dedicated to supporting and advocating for Virginia's veterans and their families. For employment, the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program assists veterans in transitioning to civilian careers, while the Military Medics & Corpsmen (MMAC) Program helps veterans with medical backgrounds find employment in the healthcare sector.

Veteran Cemeteries

The department manages several state veteran cemeteries, including the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, and the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.

These cemeteries provide dignified resting places for veterans and their families.

Virginia War Memorial

DVS oversees the Virginia War Memorial, a state monument dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of Virginia's veterans. The memorial serves as a place of reflection and education for visitors.

• Virginia Beach – Pembroke Benefits Office: Located at 293 Independence Boulevard, Pembroke 5, Suite 109, this office serves the city of Virginia Beach and includes Naval Special Warfare Development Group and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story.
• Virginia Beach – Oceana Benefits Office: Situated at 1232 Perimeter Parkway, Suite 202, this office serves the city of Virginia Beach, NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex, and Dam Neck Naval Base.
• Virginia Beach, VA, USA
