Growth Strategy and Acquisitions

The company's growth is fueled by organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. In April 2024, Delight Restaurant Group acquired 65 Wendy's restaurants across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia from Primary Aim, LLC.

This acquisition increased the total number of restaurants to 226 and bolstered annual sales to $500 million. Earlier in May 2021, the company acquired 44 Wendy's locations on Long Island, New York.

Plans included building new restaurants and remodeling existing ones under Wendy's Image Activation initiative.
