About Daughters of Charity Ministries

Daughters of Charity Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving those in need with compassion and strength. As an international society of apostolic life, they are a community of women devoted to serving the poorest and most abandoned individuals in society.

They minister in the everyday worlds of the poor and marginalized, living lives of humility and simplicity dedicated to charity. Christ's unwavering compassion and selfless generosity energize their spirit and inspire their work.

Today, there are about 16,000 Daughters of Charity living and working in more than 90 countries worldwide.

Mission and Services

West Coast Ministries

In the western United States, they have been ministering for over 160 years, providing education, health care, social, and pastoral services.
