Craig Hospital, located in Englewood, Colorado, is a renowned 93-bed, private, not-for-profit rehabilitation hospital and research center specializing in the care of individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

Established in 1907, Craig Hospital has been dedicated to providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care, rehabilitation, neurosurgical rehabilitative care, and long-term follow-up services.

Interdisciplinary Care Team

The hospital's approach involves a team of professionals, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, patient and family service counselors, therapeutic recreation specialists, psychologists, dietitians, pharmacists, and, when necessary, speech and language pathologists, neuropsychologists, and respiratory therapists.

It has unique sharing arrangements with the Denver area's leading trauma facilities and consultants enabling it to offer a full range of clinical and support services.

Craig coordinates land and air medical transportation to the hospital as necessary. As a long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospital, Craig accepts newly injured patients.

With early intervention, the team can prevent complications and make pivotal decisions about medical and rehabilitative interventions.

Craig Hospital has been ranked as a top 10 rehabilitation center by U.S. News and World Report for 27 consecutive years.

It has received the NDNQI® award as the nation's top rehab hospital based on quality outcome measures five out of the last seven years.
