About Cousin Louie's
Cousin Louie's is a full-service Italian-American restaurant located in Dripping Springs, Texas, at 165 Hargraves Dr. Suite T100. Established in early 2025, it is the latest venture from Tc4 & Co., the hospitality group behind Tony C’s Coal-Fired Pizza, The League Kitchen & Tavern, and Mighty Fine Burgers Fries & Shakes.
The restaurant is helmed by Chef Louis Ciola III, a third-generation chef and Culinary Institute of America graduate with over 20 years of culinary experience. Chef Louis has previously worked in renowned Austin establishments such as Barley Swine, Hestia, Salt & Time, and the Commodore Perry Estate.
Menu Highlights
Cousin Louie's menu features a blend of traditional family recipes passed down since 1949 and Chef Louis's original creations. Signature dishes include Chicken Piccata, Pork Chop Milanese with Peppers, Snapper Livornese, and Butternut Squash Tortelli.
Handmade pastas offered include Porcini Mushroom Ravioli with truffle cream sauce, Cavatelli with Fennel Sausage, Broccolini, Olive Oil, and Parmigiano, and Agnolotti with Bolognese Ragù. Appetizers such as Grandma Ciola’s Meatballs and the award-winning Caesar Salad are popular choices.
Beverage Program
The beverage program is curated by certified sommelier Tony Ciola and offers an extensive selection of Italian wines available by the glass or bottle. The wine list is designed to be approachable for all palates, focusing on wines from around the world, with a majority from Italy.
Design and Ambiance
The restaurant's design evokes the nostalgia of a classic mid-century East Coast Italian restaurant. It features V-groove red oak paneling, checkered floors, marble tabletops, and vintage-inspired lighting.
Inside, guests will find white linen-covered tables, a rounded bar, and booths along the perimeter, including C-shaped green leather banquettes in the corners, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
