CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region

CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region is a division of one of the nation's largest nonprofit, faith-based health systems. This division operates a comprehensive network of healthcare facilities across Colorado, Kansas, and Utah. It encompasses 20 hospitals, over 240 physician practices and clinics, and various emergency and urgent care centers.

Facilities in Colorado

The Mountain Region in Colorado includes notable facilities such as Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, which is a Level II trauma center with 364 beds. Another key facility is Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, a Level III trauma center with 82 beds.

Facilities in Utah

In Utah, the region includes Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake in Salt Lake City, a hospital with 158 beds. It also includes Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley located in West Jordan.

Mountain Health Network

The Mountain Health Network (MHN) is a clinically integrated network within the region that focuses on improving health outcomes. It adopts evidence-based practices and invests in population health infrastructure.

MHN serves over 220,000 patients and is composed of more than 1,500 primary care providers and 4,500 specialists throughout Colorado and Utah.
