About Columbus City Schools
Columbus City Schools (CCS), established in 1845, is the largest school district in Ohio, serving approximately 46,000 students across 113 schools.
The district encompasses a diverse student body, with families speaking 95 languages from 104 countries. Notably, 18% of students have special needs, and 7% are identified as gifted.
Educational Programs
CCS offers a comprehensive educational experience from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, operating 142 elementary, middle, and high schools, including specialized magnet schools.
