About Clark County School District

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is the largest public school district in Nevada and the fifth-largest in the United States, serving over 300,000 students across Clark County. Established in 1956, CCSD encompasses a diverse community where more than 154 languages are spoken, reflecting its rich cultural tapestry.

CCSD operates 373 schools, including 233 elementary schools, 61 middle/junior high schools, 54 high schools, 21 alternative schools, and four special schools. This extensive network ensures that students from various backgrounds receive quality education tailored to their needs.

In recent years, CCSD has been the fastest-growing district in the country, building more than 110 new schools since 2000, including six new Career & Technical Academies and some of the top magnet schools in the nation.

The district is committed to providing comprehensive support and resources through its service centers and divisions. These centers serve as critical connections between schools, local communities, and central office departments, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
