Public Works

Prior to this change, it included the Portland Office of Arts & Culture and Portland Parks & Recreation, which managed parks, natural areas, recreational facilities, gardens, and trails.

City Leadership

Portland's leadership includes Mayor Keith Wilson, elected in November 2024 and took office in January 2025. The City Council comprises 12 members, each representing specific districts within the city.

The City Administrator, Michael Jordan, appointed by Mayor Wilson, oversees day-to-day operations of the city's bureaus and departments.
