About Children's of Alabama
Children's of Alabama, established in 1911, is a private, not-for-profit pediatric medical center dedicated exclusively to the care and treatment of children. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, it is the state's only health system focused solely on pediatric care.
Affiliated with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine, the hospital serves as a teaching facility providing education and training in pediatric medicine, surgery, psychiatry, research, and residency programs.
