Overview
Children's Nebraska is a non-profit regional pediatric specialty healthcare center located in Omaha, Nebraska. Established in 1948, it is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state, providing comprehensive care to children and families across Nebraska and neighboring regions.
The hospital features a 231-bed facility and offers more than 50 pediatric specialty clinics. These address a wide array of medical needs including asthma, cardiology, neurology, pediatric cancer, neonatal intensive care follow-up, diabetes, and various therapies such as physical, occupational, and speech.
Special Facilities
Children’s Nebraska is home to Nebraska's only Level IV regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the state's only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
Mission and Culture
In October 2023, the hospital rebranded as Children's Nebraska to better represent its mission and regional impact. This change emphasizes the hospital's commitment to exceptional care, advocacy, research, and education for children.
