About Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) is a not-for-profit pediatric healthcare system dedicated to providing comprehensive care for infants, children, teens, and young adults up to 21 years old throughout Georgia.
Established in 1998 through the merger of Egleston Children's Health Care System and Scottish Rite Medical Center, CHOA has grown to become one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the United States.
Hospitals
- Arthur M. Blank Hospital: Opened on September 29, 2024, this 446-bed facility is located at the corner of I-85 and North Druid Hills Road in Brookhaven, Georgia. It features a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and offers a wide range of pediatric specialties, including cardiac care, oncology, and critical care.
- Scottish Rite Hospital: Situated at 1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE in Atlanta, this 319-bed hospital provides comprehensive pediatric care and is affiliated with the Emory University School of Medicine and the Morehouse School of Medicine. It includes a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and serves as a regional pediatric intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care unit.
- Hughes Spalding Hospital: Located in downtown Atlanta, this 24-bed hospital offers acute care and outpatient services. It is also affiliated with Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine, providing specialized pediatric care to the community.
