In 2016, CHG launched Planta, a 100% plant-based restaurant in Toronto, marking a significant shift towards sustainable dining. This initiative expanded across Canada and the United States, offering innovative vegetarian and vegan menu options.

By 2022, CHG sold its last non-plant-based restaurant, The Chase, leading to the formation of PLANTA Group, which now focuses exclusively on elevated plant-based dining experiences.

Beyond culinary ventures, CHG partnered with Holt Renfrew in 2017 to open Colette Grand Café in five Canadian locations, enhancing luxury shopping with French-inspired dining.
