About Charleston Battery
Charleston Battery is a professional soccer club based in Charleston, South Carolina. It competes in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship. Established in 1993, it is the oldest continuously operating professional soccer club in the United States.
Over its storied history, Charleston Battery has achieved significant success, securing four league titles:
- 1996: USISL Pro League Champion
- 2003: USL A-League Champion
- 2010: USL Second Division Champion and Regular Season Title
- 2012: USL Pro/Championship Champion
In 2023, the team reached the USL Championship Conference Final, further solidifying its reputation in the league.
