About Casa de Amparo
Casa de Amparo, established in 1978, is a non-profit organization dedicated to treating and preventing child abuse and neglect in San Diego County, California.
With a mission to support those affected by and at risk of child abuse and neglect, Casa de Amparo offers a range of programs and services that promote healing, growth, and healthy relationships.
Locations
- San Marcos Campus: Located at 325 Buena Creek Road, San Marcos, CA 92069, this campus houses the Residential Services program. It provides short-term residential care for children aged 12–18 and their babies aged birth–2 who have been removed from their homes due to severe child abuse and/or neglect.
- Oceanside Office: Located at 4055 Oceanside Blvd, Ste F, Oceanside, CA 92056, this office serves as a hub for community engagement and support.

Programs and Services
The Residential Services program offers 24/7 evidence-based, trauma-informed care and therapeutic services to foster youth with significant mental and behavioral health conditions to return them to a family-based setting.
This includes crisis intervention, rehabilitation programs, counseling, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, educational support, life skills training, career guidance, and more.
Casa de Amparo's comprehensive approach includes residential services, educational support, and life skills training. All are aimed at empowering youth to overcome challenges associated with abuse and neglect.
