Capital Health is a leading healthcare provider in the region, dedicated to delivering progressive and high-quality patient care. The organization comprises two hospitals—the Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and the Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell in Pennington—as well as an outpatient facility in Hamilton and various primary and specialty care practices across the area. As a four-time Magnet-designated health system for nursing excellence, Capital Health demonstrates a strong commitment to high-quality nursing practice. The organization serves as a Level II regional trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, regional perinatal center—including a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)—and an emergency mental health screening center.

Additionally, Capital Health offers the region's first and most experienced Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as New Jersey's first Autism-Friendly Pediatric Emergency Department.
