CAL POLY POMONA FOUNDATION

The Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc., established in 1966, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the educational mission of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Operating as an integral component of the university, the Foundation enhances the university and community experience through optimized solutions and resource generation that empower student success.

The Foundation offers a diverse array of services and facilities to the campus community, including:

• Dining Services: Providing a variety of dining options to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring convenient and quality meal choices on campus.
• Bronco Bookstore: Supplying textbooks, apparel, and other university merchandise, serving as a central hub for academic and school spirit needs.
• University Village: Offering on-campus housing for students, fostering a vibrant residential community that supports academic and personal growth.
• Kellogg West Conference Center & Hotel: Providing conference facilities and accommodations, supporting university events and external conferences.
• Innovation Village: A hub for entrepreneurial activities, offering resources and support for startups and innovative projects within the university community.
• Affordable Faculty/Staff Housing: Developing and managing housing solutions to support the university's faculty and staff, contributing to the overall well-being of the campus community.

In addition to these services, the Foundation plays a pivotal role in student employment, offering valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 Cal Poly Pomona students each year. These positions span various fields, including technology, science, retail, culinary arts, hospitality, management, leadership, and research grants, aligning with the university's "learn-by-doing" philosophy.

Financially, the Foundation contributes over $1 million annually to Cal Poly Pomona, supporting nearly 1,100 Foundation and scholarship programs each year, including Bronco Athletics and the Norman J. Priest Scholarship. Additionally, it administers grants and contracts, contributes to campus security, and supports several university publications.

The Foundation's mission is to enhance the university and community experience through optimized solutions and resource generation that empower student success. Its vision is to provide outstanding services and value through innovation and quality experiences.
