The building features local natural materials and simple forms, reflecting the timeless quality planned for architecture in the development. It includes an entry courtyard with a signature massive stone wall, serving as a protected space for small gatherings or large events.

Programs and Services

The Boulder JCC offers a wide array of programs catering to various age groups and interests:

• Early Childhood Center: Provides nurturing and inclusive early childhood education programs for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• After School Activities and Camps: Offers engaging programs such as Hip Hop, Clay, Volleyball, and School Day Out sessions, as well as the Cherryvale Day Camp, providing enriching experiences for children beyond school hours.
• Arts, Culture, and Education: Hosts a variety of classes and events, including adult art classes, the Boulder Jewish Film Festival, and the Boulder Jewish Festival, celebrating Jewish culture and fostering community engagement.

• Farm and Sustainability: Manages the Milk and Honey Farm, cultivating over 150 species of plants, and promotes sustainability through various programs and initiatives.
• Café at the J: Operates a café open Monday through Friday, offering coffee, tea, snacks, and lunch, serving as a community gathering space.

Community Impact

In 2024, the Boulder JCC welcomed over 40,000 visits, with more than 500 community members participating in fundraising and celebratory events like JFest.

The center also facilitated the creation of over 375 soups by volunteers for community members and cultivated over 150 species of plants at the Milk and Honey Farm.
