Established over 25 years ago, BDI offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support personal and professional growth for people with varying abilities.
Empowerment Programs
BDI's empowerment programs focus on providing individuals with the tools and resources needed to lead independent and purposeful lives.
Key services include:
- Benefits Navigation: Assisting individuals and families in identifying, obtaining, and maximizing public and private resources, including Medicaid and Social Security benefits. BDI has secured over $150 million in benefits for people over their lifespans.
- Family Support: Offering brokerage services and connecting families with resources, vendors, and funding for goods and services, including individualized skills training, inclusive activities, medical and therapeutic supports, and recreational camps.
- Behavioral Health: Providing intensive case management, life skills training, and community integration to support mental health and well-being.
- Workforce Resources: Offering evaluations, career planning, job readiness training, job placement support, and skills training to prepare individuals for the workforce.
Employment Programs
BDI's employment programs are designed to connect individuals with disabilities to meaningful work opportunities. These programs include:
- Job & Career Services: Providing one-on-one support to identify skills, interests, and goals, followed by specialized job training, job placement services, and customized supported employment to ensure long-term success.
- Elevate Academy: A nine-month job training program offering hands-on training, skill-building, and real-world job opportunities in partnership with local businesses.
- Bridge Academy: A program focusing on entry-level cybersecurity concepts, covering security principles, network and endpoint security, vulnerability assessment, risk management, and incident handling.

BDI also offers a range of business services that provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities while delivering high-quality solutions to organizations. These services include:
- Facilities Management: Expertly maintained environments with janitorial, grounds maintenance, and upkeep services, backed by certifications like Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) with Honors and CIMS Green Building with Honors.
- Contact Centers: Top-tier customer support with 22 years of experience in call center operations, customer service, and switchboard management, offering U.S.-based teams fluent in English and Spanish.
- Administrative Services: Streamlined operations with expert mailroom management, front desk services, and data entry support, tailored to support complex and high-security organizations.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Optimized logistics with robust warehouse management solutions, including secure storage in a 50,000-square-foot facility, efficient packaging, and fulfillment services.

- Robert J. Freeman Campus: Located at 2120 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, this headquarters houses the call center and training facility with 32,000 square feet of climate-controlled warehouse and production space.
