Blank Street

Blank Street is a dynamic coffee company that reimagines the traditional coffee shop experience by offering high-quality, affordable coffee in convenient, small-format locations. Founded in August 2020 by Issam Freiha and Vinay Menda, the company began with a mobile coffee cart in Brooklyn, New York.

The founders, both immigrants who met while studying in the U.S., were inspired by the efficient, small-format coffee shops they observed in Asia. They aimed to replicate this model in the U.S., focusing on quality, affordability, and convenience. This approach allowed them to source specialty-grade coffee beans from around the world and serve fresh, locally sourced food items, all while maintaining lower overhead costs.

Blank Street's menu features a variety of coffee and tea beverages, complemented by pastries from local bakeries and other food items. The company emphasizes a grab-and-go service model, catering to customers seeking a quick yet premium coffee experience.

In addition to its physical locations, Blank Street has developed a subscription program called "Regulars", offering members a set number of drinks per week for a fixed fee. This initiative aims to build customer loyalty and provide value to regular patrons.
