Hospitals and Specialty Centers
At the core of BJC HealthCare's offerings are its hospitals, each recognized for excellence in various medical specialties. Barnes-Jewish Hospital, located in St. Louis, is the largest hospital in the area and serves as the adult teaching hospital for Washington University School of Medicine.
It is one of the three Level I trauma centers in St. Louis and houses the Charles F. Knight Emergency and Trauma Center. Additionally, Barnes-Jewish Hospital is home to the Center for Advanced Medicine and the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center.
The Siteman Cancer Center is a partnership with Washington University School of Medicine and holds the National Cancer Institute's Comprehensive Cancer Center designation.

St. Louis Children's Hospital is a 390-bed pediatric facility providing services to the St. Louis metropolitan area and a primary service region covering six states. It is the only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in Missouri and is affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine.
