Established in 2017, the Larks play their home games at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, a historic venue with a seating capacity of 1,900.
The team was named through a community contest, with "Larks" chosen to honor North Dakota's state bird, the Meadowlark. This name reflects the team's connection to the local community and the state's natural heritage.
As part of the Northwoods League, the Larks provide a platform for elite college baseball players to showcase their talents in a competitive environment.
