Birdcall is a Denver-based, quick-service fried chicken concept founded in 2016. The company aims to make all-natural foods more affordable and accessible by leveraging technology to enhance the dining experience.

The first Birdcall location opened in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood, offering a fresh approach to fast-casual dining. The restaurant emphasizes high-quality, all-natural ingredients, superior hospitality, and innovative design.

A key feature of Birdcall's service is its proprietary ordering platform, Poncho, which streamlines operations and reduces overhead costs, providing a seamless experience for customers.

Menu Offerings

The menu at Birdcall is chef-inspired and features a variety of dishes, including 10 all-natural crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches.

Notable items include:

• The Southern sandwich with pimento cheese and southern coleslaw
• The Rancher with bacon onion jam, white cheddar, and Bird-B-Q Sauce
• The Spicy Szechuan with spicy Szechuan chili oil, honey ginger coleslaw, and charred scallion kewpie mayo
• The Veggie sandwich offering an animal-free crispy cutlet, kimchi coleslaw, sriracha aioli, and cilantro for plant-based options

The menu also includes sliders, hand-cut tenders and nuggets, specialty salads, and a selection of nine sides such as fries, tater tots, loaded tots, and coleslaws, complemented by 15 house-made sauces.

Community Engagement

Birdcall is committed to community engagement through its "1% Back" initiative, pledging a portion of sales to local nonprofits and organizations.

As of July 2025, Birdcall operates several locations across Colorado, Arizona, and Texas.

In Colorado, Birdcall has restaurants in:

• Aurora, CO, USA
• Fort Collins, CO, USA
• Colorado Springs

In Arizona, its locations include Scottsdale and Phoenix, with a second location in north central Phoenix that opened in October 2023.

In Texas, Birdcall has multiple locations, with plans for further expansion.

Future Expansion

Birdcall has announced plans to open at least 5-7 new restaurants this year, with the goal of having more than 200 locations nationwide by the end of 2028.

The expansion will focus on establishing free-standing locations, with potential opportunities in:
