About Bensenville Park District
The Bensenville Park District, established in 1960, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors in Bensenville, Illinois. It provides a diverse array of recreational facilities, programs, and community events.
With a commitment to preserving local history and open spaces, the district manages over 340 acres of parkland, including 16 neighborhood parks. It offers facilities that cater to all ages and interests.
Recreational Facilities and Programs
The district's facilities include the Deer Grove Leisure Center, a state-of-the-art facility featuring a weight room, gymnasium, indoor track, and racquetball courts.
The Bensenville Water Park & Splash Pad offers a 155-foot water slide, diving well, drop slides, sand volleyball court, and play areas for children. White Pines Golf Club provides a 36-hole golf course, restaurant, and banquet facility.
Fischer Farm, a historic site, hosts events such as Civil War reenactments, family campouts, art showcases, and live music.
