Belle of Baton Rouge

Belle of Baton Rouge is a premier entertainment complex located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Established in 1994, it has long been a cornerstone of the city's hospitality and gaming scene.

In January 2025, the iconic riverboat casino was towed away to Terrebonne Parish, marking the beginning of an extensive redevelopment project aimed at transforming the venue into a modern, land-based casino and hotel.

Redevelopment Project

The redevelopment plan includes a comprehensive renovation of the existing hotel, which is set to reopen on March 31, 2025, under the new name Bally's Baton Rouge Hotel. The 10-story property features 242 well-appointed rooms, luxurious suites, an ultra-modern fitness center, and a VIP lounge with panoramic views.

The gaming and entertainment complex, slated to open in the fall of 2025, will feature over 25,000 square feet of contemporary Vegas-style gaming, a spacious sports lounge, and multiple dining options.

This transformation aims to revitalize downtown Baton Rouge, offering a vibrant entertainment destination for both locals and visitors.

Temporary Operations

During the transition period, guests can enjoy the Belle’s temporary land-based casino. It offers nearly 10,000 square feet of gaming space, including over 240 slot machines and three table games.
