Bardenay of Boise LLC, established in 1999, is renowned as the nation's first restaurant and distillery, seamlessly blending dining with handcrafted spirits.

The original location, situated in a historic warehouse on Boise's Basque Block, offers a unique experience where patrons can savor authentic Northwest cuisine alongside a full bar featuring house-distilled spirits.

Distillery Production

The distillery produces a diverse range of spirits, including vodka, gin, rum, and whiskey, all crafted with meticulous attention to detail.

Bardenay's rum is aged in oak barrels, achieving a harmonious balance of sweetness and depth. The vodka is distilled from 100% Idaho potatoes or Brundage Winter Wheat, blended with Rocky Mountain Spring Water, ensuring a smooth and distinctive taste.

Flavored varieties are naturally infused with all-natural Idaho Mountain Huckleberries, Rainier Cherries, and Sunnyslope Nectarines.

Expansion and Facilities

In 2025, Bardenay expanded its presence with a new location in Garden City, Idaho.

This establishment features an expansive distillery, an on-site liquor store, and a restaurant. The distillery operates two 100-gallon stills, increasing production by 40%, and offers tours to visitors.

The on-site liquor store allows customers to purchase Bardenay's spirits directly, including whiskey, vodka, and gin.
