About Audacy, Inc.

Audacy, Inc. is a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formerly known as Entercom Communications Corporation, the company rebranded to Audacy in March 2021 to unify its diverse audio products under a single brand.

Audacy owns and operates over 220 radio stations across 47 media markets in the United States, making it the second-largest radio company in the country. Its portfolio includes a wide range of music, news, and sports brands, catering to diverse listener preferences.

In addition to traditional radio broadcasting, Audacy has expanded into digital audio through its Audacy app, which offers streaming of sports, news, music, entertainment, and podcasts. The app serves as a central hub for all of Audacy's audio content, providing listeners with a seamless experience across various devices.

Audacy has also made significant strides in the podcasting space by acquiring companies like Cadence13, Pineapple Street Media, and Podcorn. These acquisitions have enabled Audacy to build one of the largest podcast platforms in the country, featuring over 3,000 podcasts and more than two billion downloads annually.

In April 2024, Audacy launched Audacy Sports, a dedicated vertical representing its portfolio of 40 owned-and-operated all-sports stations and affiliates, 160 sports streaming channels on the Audacy app, and the number one sports podcast network featuring over 600 titles and live events. Audacy Sports serves as the official audio and podcast partner of Major League Baseball, granting exclusive access to inventory for streaming audio play-by-play in both English and Spanish and official podcasts for the league.

Despite facing financial challenges, including filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2024, Audacy successfully completed its financial restructuring in September 2024. The company emerged with a significantly reduced debt load, positioning itself for long-term growth and continued innovation in the audio entertainment industry.
