Atlas Restaurant Group is a Baltimore-based hospitality company that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of over 50 restaurants across multiple states, including Maryland, Florida, Texas, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Founded in 2012 by Alex and Eric Smith, the group has been instrumental in redefining the dining experience by offering authentic cuisines from around the world, impeccable service, and unparalleled entertainment.

The group's culinary offerings span a wide range of cuisines, including Italian, Japanese, French, and American. Notable concepts include Azumi, a Japanese fine dining restaurant located in Baltimore's Four Seasons Hotel, and Ouzo Bay, a Greek seafood restaurant in Harbor East.

In 2017, Atlas introduced Tagliata, an Italian steakhouse in Little Italy, and The Elk Room, a speakeasy-style bar adjacent to Tagliata. The Bygone, a rooftop restaurant offering panoramic city views, opened in 2018, followed by Maximón, a Mexican and South American-inspired restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel.

In 2020, Atlas expanded its portfolio with Monarque, a French steakhouse in Harbor East, and The Choptank, a classic fish and crab house in Fells Point.

The group also launched Watershed, a Maryland seafood house with an expansive rooftop deck, and Cross Street Cocktails, a bar offering handcrafted cocktails.

In 2024, Atlas opened The Ruxton, an American steakhouse in Harbor East, and Order of the Ace, a cocktail bar and lounge. The group further expanded in Delaware by acquiring a majority stake in Big Fish Restaurant Group, adding 16 restaurants to its portfolio.

Unique Dining Experiences

Atlas Restaurant Group's commitment to quality and innovation has led to the development of unique dining experiences, such as The Undefeated, a 40-seat cocktail bar in Fells Point, and Nine Tailed Fox, a Chinese dining experience in Baltimore.

The group continues to grow, with plans for new concepts in Annapolis and National Harbor.
