Atlanta Mission

Atlanta Mission is the largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women, and children in the Atlanta area. Established in 1938, the organization has grown from a small soup kitchen to a comprehensive network of facilities dedicated to transforming lives through Christ.

Atlanta Mission's mission is to transform, through Christ, the lives of those facing homelessness. Their vision is to be a community united to end homelessness, one friend at a time.

Services Offered

• Emergency Shelter and Food: Offering safe shelter and nutritious meals to those in immediate need.
• Addiction Recovery Programs: Comprehensive programs aimed at helping individuals overcome substance abuse issues.

• Restoration House: Located at 655 Ethel Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, serving as an emergency shelter for women and children.
• Fuqua Hall: Found at 144 Mills Street, Atlanta, GA 30313, offering transitional housing for men.
• The Potter’s House: Located at 655 Potter’s House Road, Jefferson, GA 30549, providing long-term residential recovery programs for men facing homelessness due to addiction.

The organization also operates thrift stores in Athens and Gainesville, Georgia, which serve as ministry centers and support the organization's programs.
