Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) is a prominent Alaska Native Regional Corporation established in 1972 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Headquartered in Utqiaġvik, Alaska, ASRC serves as a for-profit entity owned by approximately 14,000 Alaska Native shareholders, primarily of Inupiat Eskimo descent.

Business Segments

ASRC operates across six major business segments:

• Government Services: Through its subsidiary, ASRC Federal, the corporation provides a range of services to U.S. federal agencies, including engineering, information technology, infrastructure support, and professional and technical services.
• Petroleum Refining and Marketing: ASRC owns Petro Star Inc., the only Alaskan-owned refining and fuel marketing operation in the state. Petro Star operates two refineries along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System: the North Pole Refinery and the Valdez Refinery.
• Energy Support Services: Through ASRC Energy Services and Little Red Services, the corporation offers oil field services, employing approximately 2,300 Alaskans. These services include hot-oil operations, which involve inspecting and flushing oil well tubing and surface lines to remove accumulated deposits.
• Industrial Services: ASRC Industrial, based in Tempe, Arizona, comprises three operating groups: Maintenance, Mechanical and Specialty Services; Cleaning, Demolition and Remediation; and Engineering, Inspection and Professional Services. These services are delivered by 24 companies.
• Construction: ASRC Construction provides services in four categories: buildings, civil and infrastructure, building materials, and construction services, delivered by four different companies.
• Resource Development: As one of the largest private landowners in Alaska, ASRC owns approximately 5 million acres of land. The corporation has a royalty position in the Colville River Unit, home to the Alpine oil field, and has been involved in various oil and gas development projects in the region.

Subsidiaries

In addition to its primary operations, ASRC has diversified its portfolio to include subsidiaries such as ASRC Aerospace Corporation, which supports major contracts providing a base of over 1,000 personnel, and Eskimos, Inc., a fuel and automotive parts distributor.

Shareholder Commitment and Financial Performance
