About Allegheny Center Alliance Church
Allegheny Center Alliance Church (ACAC) is a vibrant Christian congregation located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dedicated to "Following Jesus in Diverse Community." Established in 1894, ACAC has grown into a dynamic community embracing generational, ethnic, political, and cultural differences unified by Christ.
Campuses
- North Side Campus: Located at 250 East Ohio Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, offering Sunday services at 8:30 am, 10:00 am, and 11:30 am.
- Steel Valley Campus: Situated at 437 E. 10th Avenue, Munhall, PA 15120, with a Sunday service at 10:00 am.
ACAC’s mission is to reflect God’s diverse Kingdom by fostering unity among believers from varied backgrounds. The church emphasizes laying aside differences to be unified in one Spirit, one Lord, and one baptism.
In August 2023, ACAC completed a new Community Hub connecting three existing church buildings. This central space promotes community engagement through events, counseling, and outreach programs. Large windows in the design invite the community in, symbolizing a welcoming presence on the Northside.
Leadership
The church is led by Lead Pastor Alan Hannah, who began his role in January 2020. Pastor Hannah is known for his spirit-led preaching and passion for worship arts, guiding a multi-ethnic and multi-generational congregation.
Ministries
ACAC offers a variety of ministries tailored for children, students, young adults, and adults. These programs encourage spiritual growth, community involvement, and service opportunities.
Denomination
As part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), ACAC aligns with the denomination’s focus on global missions and community service. The church’s commitment to diversity and engagement reflects the C&MA’s mission to bring all of Jesus to all the world.
