Alii Animal Hospital & Resort is a comprehensive veterinary care provider and pet resort based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Established in 2019 by Dr. Joanna Cook and Matt Malta, the facility offers a wide range of services to ensure the health and well-being of pets across Oahu.

Veterinary Services

The hospital provides full-service veterinary care, including wellness exams, dental care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. Their team of experienced veterinarians is dedicated to delivering compassionate and professional medical attention to pets of all kinds.

Pet Resort and Boarding

Alii Animal Unleashed, the resort arm of the hospital, features Hawaii's largest indoor playground for dogs, encompassing over 10,000 square feet of playroom space. The facility offers overnight stays in spacious, glass-doored suites ranging from 24 to 42 square feet.

This setup ensures comfort and safety for canine guests. Additionally, the resort provides grooming and training services, all supervised by skilled staff and veterinarians.

Exotic Pet Care

In 2024, Alii Animal expanded its services to include care for exotic pets such as birds, rabbits, and turtles. This expansion reflects their commitment to providing quality care for a diverse range of animals.

Educational Programs

The Keiki Vet Program was introduced as a community engagement initiative. It aims to inspire and educate young animal enthusiasts about the veterinary field through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences.
